Reeth Community Orchard

The Community Orchard Garden is in the grounds of Hudson House, Reeth.

In 2002 the Community Orchard Group launched their ambitious project to restore the old walled garden behind Hudson House, formerly Barclays Bank in Reeth.
The garden was then derelict and overgrown. It took many months of dedicated volunteer labour to bring it back into use as a productive orchard. The official Opening finally took place on April 30th, 2004 and the orchard continues to be beautifully maintained by the Community Orchard Group, is open daily throughout the year and is enjoyed by local residents and visitors to Reeth.
